Warm, tender, and bursting with flavor, I know these will be your new faves too. You get all the same flaky fluffiness, but there’s more. And let me tell you, the “more” makes these things extraordinary. Imagine your favorite buttery biscuits overflowing with mozzarella, pizza sauce, and pepperoni. Or how about hot ham and cheese or warm sausage gravy. Like I said, these stuffed biscuits are heavenly!
1. Sausage Gravy Stuffed Biscuits
I’m starting this list with one of my all-time favorite stuffed biscuit recipes. I love gravy and biscuits – especially sausage gravy. It comes from spending so many weekends at my grandparent’s house. My gramma ruined me on gravy and biscuits. I’ll be an addict forever. Unfortunately, they aren’t the easiest or cleanest things to eat on the go. But if you stuff the gravy inside the biscuit, that changes the game. They still aren’t as easy to eat as a plain bagel or banana. However, you can certainly make it work when the gravy is on the inside. If you’re anything like me, this recipe will revolutionize your breakfast game.
2. Sausage, Egg, and Cheese-Stuffed Biscuits
These are like Hardee’s sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits only dialed up to 11. First of all, everything from the juicy sausage to the gooey cheese is inside the biscuit. And not between two pieces of a biscuit either – literally stuffed inside it. It’s a delicious, convenient way to enjoy a breakfast sandwich. However, you’ll make it even better by covering each one in butter and cheddar. That’s right: cheese-covered biscuits stuffed with your breakfast favorites. They’re truly divine.
3. Ham and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits
How do you make a hot ham and cheese sandwich even better? By stuffing it inside a buttery biscuit, of course! These 30-minute biscuits feature gooey melted cheese and salty ham. Serve them with a side of honey mustard, and watch as they fly off the table. You will not be going home with leftovers – I don’t care how many you make.
4. Buffalo Chicken Biscuit Bombs
These fluffy biscuits feature tangy, slightly spicy centers with tender chunks of chicken breast and homemade buffalo sauce. Add some cubes of pepper jack cheese, and you’re all set. They’re stringy, saucy, and wonderfully messy but are well worth the trouble.
5. Caramel Apple Pie Bombs
People often forget how easy it is to turn canned biscuits into decadent desserts. With this recipe and six simple ingredients, you can do just that. The outside of each is crunchy and coated in cinnamon and sugar. The inside contains a warm, sticky mix of melted caramels and apple pie filling. These are hard to beat if you’re looking for the perfect fall treat.
6. Cheese Bombs
Buttery, fluffy, and full of cheese, these are the ultimate appetizer. It takes a little over an hour to make them, but you’ll only need three ingredients. Of course, I like to add the optional parmesan and parsley topping, plus a bit of garlic powder, making it six ingredients instead of just three. Even so, they’re still insanely simple to make. And their cheesy, herby flavor is outrageously yummy. They’re so good; you won’t need any dipping sauces. That said, they’re ridiculously tasty with marinara, pizza sauce, or garlic butter.
7. Turkey A La King
It’s challenging to stuff everything you’ll need for turkey a la king inside a biscuit. If you can make it work, awesome. If not, slice the biscuits open and load them up instead. Either way, they’ll still taste fantastic. You’ll love the tender chicken, creamy sauce, and flavorful veggies. The fact that you can whip them up in 35 minutes is excellent, too.
8. Biscuit Chicken Pot Pie (in a Skillet)
Looking for something comforting that feels like home? You’ve got to try this skillet biscuit pot pie. It has everything you love about chicken pot pie, including juicy chicken and veggies. But you’ll also get savory sauce and buttery biscuit topping. Every bite of this is a little taste of Heaven. The entire family will love it – including the kids, who’ll probably reach for seconds.
9. Meatball Stuffed Biscuits
These biscuits are hiding a hearty, meaty surprise. Each one contains a fat, juicy meatball and plenty of mozzarella cheese. Add garlic and butter to the top and dust them with parmesan, then serve them alongside some marinara for dipping. It’s an incredible, not-so-traditional Italian meal.
10. Macaroni & Cheese Stuffed Biscuits
These may look like lumpy biscuits from the outside, but inside, they’re full of ooey, gooey, messy, and delectable macaroni and cheese. You can serve these as appetizers or a side dish. Either way, they’re warm and comforting, and people will love them.
11. Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble Biscuits
These bubble biscuits have three of my favorite things: chicken, Ranch, and bacon. It’s a total trifecta of yumminess. Chicken, bacon, and Ranch always taste superb together, and these stuffed biscuits are no exception. The chicken is tender, the bacon is salty, and the Ranch is totally addictive. Despite their relatively small size, they’re also surprisingly filling. Scarf down a couple, and you’ll stay full for hours.
12. Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs
First of all, how cute are these burger bombs? Their golden color and the sesame seeds on top make them look like sliders, which I find adorable. As for flavor, they’re killing it there, too. Somehow, you’ll pack an entire Big Mac’s worth of flavor into each of these. The ground beef is juicy and succulent, and the cheese is robust and flavorful. Add onions, bacon, pickles, etc., and you’ll have a whole meal in your hand. Albeit a bite-sized one.
13. Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits
Honey-smothered chicken is a genuine delicacy. The crispy crust and tender white meat taste terrific with honey and butter. Now picture that tasty treat stuffed into a warm, flaky biscuit. They’re like chicken and waffles but smaller and even more flavor-packed.
14. Stuffed Pizza Bites
Stuffed pizza bites are garlicky, buttery, cheesy, and delicious. But, honestly, it’s hard to decide which part tastes best. The buttery, herby, golden biscuits are superb. However, the pepperoni and cheese filling is equally impressive. Together, they make one mouth-wateringly fantastic treat. Be sure you set out some marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. You can’t have an authentic pizza without it.
15. Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit Sandwich
This recipe puts a new twist on an old favorite. Most people appreciate a good bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. This one’s a little different than most, though. Instead of a fried or scrambled egg, you’ll use a cheesy egg casserole. The soft, fluffy casserole pairs flawlessly with the salty, crispy bacon. Plus, it’s more convenient to eat it this way. There’s much less mess but the same bold flavor.
16. Easy Chocolate Biscuit Bombs
Here’s another tasty recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth. You’ll cover each biscuit bomb in rich, sticky icing and chocolate chips. And do you want to guess what’s inside each one? That’s right – gooey, melted chocolate. These are absolutely heavenly, but limit yourself to just one or two. Otherwise, you might end up devouring the whole lot!
17. Cream Cheese Sausage Stuffed Biscuits
You can enjoy these five-ingredient biscuits for breakfast, brunch, or a midday snack. They’re like a bigger, zestier version of a sausage ball, featuring sausage, pepper jack, Ranch dressing, and cream cheese. And I mean that in the best way possible – I love sausage balls! If you’re going to make these for a get-together, double the recipe. You may even want to triple it. Everyone who tries them will want at least two, and probably more! Click on a star to rate it!
